The First Steps When Deciding To Host a Corporate Live Stream

Live streaming refers to the online streaming of media which is simultaneously recorded and broadcast in real-time. Live streaming capabilities over the past few years have grown and so has the technology.

With so many live stream platforms to pick from where should I begin and what should I be looking for?

The Process

Once the client makes an inquiry with Visual Domain about hosting a live stream, our talented team of Relationship Managers formulates all vital information to create the client’s vision. The Relationship Manager will identify key elements of consideration to decide which live stream platform and package are best suited. These key elements include;

Platform

There are many different platforms to host a live stream. An important key element to consider is whom you want your live stream to reach? Are you looking to engage your audience through social media? Are you looking to collate customer data and use this exercise as a lead generation tool? Host the live stream on our Visual Domain Live Platform or host on another platform? If you would like to hear more about our platform, click here.

Package

Will the live stream contain only pre-recorded elements or will be filmed live? These two variables will determine which package is best suited to your needs.

Location

For the filming of the live stream, do you have a location in mind? Or would you prefer the Visual Domain studios located in both Melbourne and Sydney? If in need of something bigger, we can help source that too. 

Talent

Will there be presenters during the Livestream? Perhaps you would like to pre-record certain elements beforehand or for presenters that are off-location? We are able to assist in bringing about these key elements, however, they need to be identified from the pre-production stage to ensure a smooth broadcast of the live stream. 

Once we have this information, the client is handed over to their dedicated Producer & Live Stream Operator who assists the clients across the production process. Both the Producer & Live Stream Operator are then able to assist the client from the beginning right through the end of their live stream.
